Thought of the Week
Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or FAQ's. We just figured it out. Today's kids are soft.

I still blow on shit when it doesn't work..memory cards, cd's, DVD's but alas, the magic of yesteryear is gone...DS
My guess is ghosts teach stuff to kids. Hattie does crazy kid stuff we never taught her, and we live in a haunted house. I'm waiting for her to spontaneously start reciting "Eeny, meeny, miny, mo." In which case, we're moving.
Back in my day, there was a pair of pliers on top of every tv set because the tuner knobs had a life of..oh..2 years.
Oh, and a matchbook to use like a shim under the 8-track tape when the player heads were out of line.
Yeah, I miss those days.
