Postgame interview after the World Series game tonight:
Chris Rose: Hey Jorge, did it feel like the late 90's out there, with you catching Pettitte, then Jeter behind you, and then closing it out with Mo?
Jorge Posada: Let's not forget this is for Mr. Steinbrenner. Alright. Every fan was amazing. Thank you very much. I can't tell you how I feel right now.
Um... Yeah. Nevermind the question. I meant to say, "What would you like to say?"

But really, it's a stupid question. What's the point of the question? Is there any answer that Posada could have given that would have been the least bit interesting or insightful? I don't think so. And that goes for just about every interview I saw last night, right up through the Matsui interview when he won the MVP.
I think a better interview process for these post-game celebrations would be for the interviewers to just go, "You guys are awesome. Just so freaking awesome, man. Your response?" And then let the players hoot and yell and thank the fans, their moms, Jesus, the coach, the owner, their teammates and be done.
